    If I fill start date first, it will fill the finish time based on estimate time.

  3. Expand relationships, operations between custom entities

    Since CentriQS is marketed as a business tool - in addition to being a great task manager, build more functionality between custom objects. Define relations, operations on other entities and their fields via expanded workflow actions.An action should be able to affect properties in other entities For example, the ability to build a basic order entry system with inventory orders, balances, etc.

    Creating an ordrer and changing the workflow state to processed should be able to change the order's status, update the related inventory, etc.

  5. MAC compatibility

    When are you making this compatible in MAC? All softwares and applications and even small accessories like bluetooth, USB drives have found compatibility with MAC. Please let us know when will this be possible,

  6. Ability to add more than one link at one time.

    1) select multiple records and add a link to all at one time

    2) In link add dialog for one record - be able to select more than on lookup at a time.

    In general, it would be nice to see more abilities to relate custom entities, in addition to links, and tables that seem somewhat limited and to report out the s one to many relations.

    2. If user is on line chat session can be initiated from owner or assigned resource.

  8. The task grid needs to have the group box enabled ..

    VIP TM let us group tasks by various columns - why can't Centriqs? It would be very useful to drag columns into the group by box to group tasks together.

  10. Track of File versions and Digital Signatures

    PROCESS

    1. Each time user makes any change a new file version should be saved
    2. Original file still remains the same
    3. Each version is saved with detail of user and should highlight the change to track the change
    4. Once any file is debated, amended, agreed and saved then it should be approved and sealed by digital signatures.

    A common page where employees’ notice, company news and highlights, task or tip of the day, employees’ ranking, new publication, company rules and regulations, new employment notices etc can be published as public forum.
    This will ensure that highlights and news are reaching to employees. Lot of time and cost saving and quick response and easy implementation of rules and regulations, any new policy can be kept at this forum and comments and be asked.

  13. IP Auto DNS Updater for Easy Access Internet via Port Forwarding

    For example: I have a Synology server in my LAN that has this feature. I also have a router, flashed with Tomato firmware that also uses this feature. I thought it would be a great addition to CentriQS - which would simplify connection to software via internet for those who do not have static IP.

    Additionally, it would be easy to create subdomain such as "centriqs.mydomain.com" and use port forwarding in my router to connect to various systems inside my network.

    The examples above give options for DNS updating using services such as:

  14. Set parent task Start, End and Due date/times based upon child settings

    I would expect to be able to use the Start Date/Time and Finish Date/Time (from Task > Schedule tab) in my task columns. i.e. my task columns would have ... Start Date/Time....Finish Date/Time...Due Date/Time.

    This way I can see a complete expected time span for a task.

    Keep in mind, that the option should also be available to automatically set parent task Start, End and Due date/times based upon child settings. The parent Start would be set to the child's earliest Start, the parent Finish would be set to the child's latest Finish.This way, parent task times will always encompass…

  16. Copying an outline from external sources, for example, Excel, Word into CentriQS

    The possibility to transform an outline into a list of tasks/projects/users by copying it to clipboard and paste into the application would be great. I have several spreadsheets I used for projects and want to copy those outline items into CentriQS.

  17. Provide calendar view when scheduling people on tasks

    When assigning a user to a task you need to be able to check availability of the user by means of his agenda. Otherwise you might be over assigning people (double bookings).

  18. MS Outlook integration/synchronization

    I believe integration/synchronization with MS Outlook is almost mandatory. MS Outlook is the company standard for tasks, appointments etc., so ability to sync them with CentriQS tasks and scheduler will save double entry.

  20. Functions to track employee time off / vacations, etc.

    Employee wants to take time off.
    He checks in the software how many days of time off he has accrued or allowed.
    The software shows how many days vacation he has left.
    He sends in a request through the program to the supervisor for time off approval.
    Supervisor looks at all other employee time off requests on his calendar and approves or rejects the request
    Supervisor could print out reports showing how many days each employee has taken time off/vacation/sick days, etc from the calendar.
    We have certain # of vacation / sick days allowed per employee. So there should…
