  1. MS Outlook integration/synchronization

    I believe integration/synchronization with MS Outlook is almost mandatory. MS Outlook is the company standard for tasks, appointments etc., so ability to sync them with CentriQS tasks and scheduler will save double entry.

    1. If assigned resource is logged in or online, there should be a status and chat button.
    2. If user is on line chat session can be initiated from owner or assigned resource.

  3. Track of File versions and Digital Signatures

    PROCESS

    1. Each time user makes any change a new file version should be saved
    2. Original file still remains the same
    3. Each version is saved with detail of user and should highlight the change to track the change
    4. Once any file is debated, amended, agreed and saved then it should be approved and sealed by digital signatures.

  4. Functions to track employee time off / vacations, etc.

    Employee wants to take time off.
    He checks in the software how many days of time off he has accrued or allowed.
    The software shows how many days vacation he has left.
    He sends in a request through the program to the supervisor for time off approval.
    Supervisor looks at all other employee time off requests on his calendar and approves or rejects the request
    Supervisor could print out reports showing how many days each employee has taken time off/vacation/sick days, etc from the calendar.

  5. News Feeds and Corporate Highlight Page

    A common page where employees’ notice, company news and highlights, task or tip of the day, employees’ ranking, new publication, company rules and regulations, new employment notices etc can be published as public forum.
    This will ensure that highlights and news are reaching to employees. Lot of time and cost saving and quick response and easy implementation of rules and regulations, any new policy can be kept at this forum and comments and be asked.

  6. Provide web interface

    Provide a simple web interface with basic functions(read only) to access for example to the dashboard, stats, follow the tasks' progression, calendar... The aim is to provide an access from anywhere for the project managers and high level actors for following the projects.

  8. custom recurrence pattern

    I want my employees to be reminded to get up from their desks and do some short exercise every 2 hours or so. Right now the only way I can achieve it is by setting 12 tasks recurring daily, which is pretty inconvenient and messy. Would it be possible to allow user for setting recurrence pattern of his choice?

  9. User group based view and filtering in the Scheduler

    At this moment the Scheduler always splits up the view over individual people. I would like see an option to display the tasks for all people in one agenda, and an option to filter this agenda on user groups. This would allow me to check check the work load for single teams.

  10. Grey out shedule icon in info when sheduled in the past

    Currently It's very easy to see wether you have something sheduled or not. The only problem is that we cannot see if we sheduled everything or that the shedule may be in the past and we need to reshedule the remaining time.

    My Question is that the shedule icon
    - greyed out when the shedule is in the past.
    - Is sliced in half and the right or left part is greyed out when its not fully sheduled.

  11. Small icon for popup next to fields (instructions, notes) for entering data

    Sometimes fields and field labels do not the give user enough information on what or how to fill in that particular field when entering data. First, I see this as a checkbox "option" when creating/editing the field in the Configurator. This would add a small "?" icon next to that field. When the user clicks the "?" next to the field, a small "notes" box would popup giving the user further details about that field.

    Moreover, there could be two types of notes: One for "entering" data and one for "viewing" data. The "viewing" notes would appear if the user…

  12. Provide calendar view when scheduling people on tasks

    When assigning a user to a task you need to be able to check availability of the user by means of his agenda. Otherwise you might be over assigning people (double bookings).

  14. Expand relationships, operations between custom entities

    Since CentriQS is marketed as a business tool - in addition to being a great task manager, build more functionality between custom objects. Define relations, operations on other entities and their fields via expanded workflow actions.An action should be able to affect properties in other entities For example, the ability to build a basic order entry system with inventory orders, balances, etc.

    Creating an ordrer and changing the workflow state to processed should be able to change the order's status, update the related inventory, etc.

  16. Remaining time is adjusted automically instead of manually

    When a Time log is added 'Actual' time will increase its value but 'Remain' will be left unchanged. You need to manually enter the remaining time you still need on a task. It would be more logical if 'Remain' would be decreased automatically and only manually adjusted when you need more time then it automatically calculated.

    Example:
    You have a project for constructing a building your calculation team made a Qoutation that estimates 10 days of work.

    The employee's make time logs as they work on the project. The time logs will automatically decrease the 'Remaining' work time.

  17. Be able to right click on a task and move it to archives

    In VIP, you could right click on a task and simply select archive. It was a very handy feature and we would like to see it done in CentriQs.

  18. Data Grid Field Types

    It would be extremely useful to allow certain data types formatting on the data grids e.g. if a Percent datatype chosen, should be allowed to chose the actual % and/or progress bar, datetime choice of Date and/or time etc.

  20. have the option of being able to preview notes or comments

    When you click on the Select Preview Column the only options are notes or none. We would like to be able to preview comments since that is the area we prefer to make our notes.
